Cotopaxi

The adventure begins at 8:30 in Latacunga travel in direction to the Cotopaxi National Park, in few minutes we arrive to the entrance to the National Park, the Control Caspi, in the distance to the parking visit to Control of the park, the Museum, Area of Camping, Lagoon, Places Archeological when we go to the parking for to walk toward the refuge for about 1 hour, in this place you can drink a coffee or a hot tea before to undertake the walk to the glaciers (4900m.s.n.m), where you will enjoy of to take the ice in your hands. But the trip doesn’t have finished still, because now we begin to descend for to visit the Limpiopungo lake, a nice path, the camping site, and to see the Rumiñahui (4675). Finally we return us to Latacunga.

If, the altitudes are your dream, you can enjoy of the snow and see the clouds very near you, arriving to the summit of this giant, for this you should ascend only a little more than 1000 m. from the refuge, beginning at 00:00 hours and getting the summit at 06:00 with the sunbeams.

But, if you like the calm and little effort, we can walk around the Cotopaxi's skirts, while we see places like: the Mariscal Sucre Museum, Limpiopungo Lake, the camping area or beautiful lakes at the north, and an important archeological place, who speaks about the life of the Inca this place, possibly it have been an important site of adoration to the "Taita Cotopaxi".

Quilotoa

For this trip we start from Latacunga and we make the first stopped in Pujilí, there we can see the Sinchaguasin Hill, it have 497 tiers for to get a good view of this little colonial city, after that we continue to Tigua, in this place we can see the famous Gallery of Paints on the sheep skin, also we have a possibility of to know the indigenous houses, they are built with straw. Then we arrive to Zumbahua, an important establishment indigenous, place of interchange of Andean's products and tropical products and after that we cross the Toachi Canyon before to arrive the Quilotoa…. If you are located on the crater summit, you will have a very good view of this green lake….

But, the adventure begins now, when you descend to the lake, where you can take a walk on a boat or simply to enjoy the water calm and to return to the summit by walking or above a horse
When we are returning to Latacunga, we can take another road for to visit La Victoria, and beautiful town of potters.

Ilinizas

For this place we have several options, some for who enjoy of the high mountain and others for who doesn't like physical effort, in this last you can visit a fall water, a thermal font and a mineral water font, only with few minutes of walk.
Another option is for people with better physical state and requires more effort, however the reward is very good, either to the North or South Iliniza although the North Iliniza needs more experience and special equipment.

Chugchilan

This is the most enigmatic trip, because you can see a fascinating landscape.

First we visit the Quilotoa Lake, then we walk toward chugchilan going by the canyon of the Toachi lowering to the river and ascending another time until the moor, then we go to Isinlivi and Sigchos.

Finally we go to Saquisili and we return us to Latacunga..
